[No picture available]
Originally from South Carolina, Barratt Park is now based in Cambridge, MA, where he attends graduate school at MIT. Recently, he has been seen as Ping in Lowell House Opera’s Turandot. He also appeared in BOC’s original adaptation, The Countess of Seville, where he performed Figaro in a scene from Il Barbiere di Siviglia. He is currently involved with BOC's The Magic Flute as First Priest. Upcoming engagements include Alidoro in Opera del West's La Cenerentola, baritone soloist in the Paul Madore Chorale's upcoming Carmina Burana, and Maestro Spinelloccio in BOC's Gianni Schicchi.

As a graduate student at MIT, Mr. Park is the winner of an Emerson vocal performance scholarship and performs as a soloist with its chamber chorus and chamber music society. A fan of light opera, Barratt serves as president of MIT’s Gilbert and Sullivan Players, where he has appeared in Ruddigore (Despard), Princess Ida (Florian), HMS Pinafore (Captain Corcoran), and Cox and Box (Cox). Before coming to MIT, Barratt sang selections from Finzi’s Let us Garlands Bring in a staged production (For Every Passion Something) designed and directed by the Royal Shakespeare Company in Edinburgh, Scotland.
