Baritone James Liu is a physician by day and singer by night. He has sung in choruses for over twenty years, with solos in performances of the St. Matthew Passion, Judas Maccabeus, Les Noces and Howells's Requiem. His art song repertoire includes Die schöne Müllerin, Winterreise, Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, Dichterliebe, Histoires naturelles and Don Quichotte à Dulcinée. He has worked at WHRB as a classical music announcer and producer. He has appeared in Idomeneo (Opera Hub; Ensemble), Don Giovanni (Boston Opera Collaborative; Ensemble), The Magic Flute (Boston Opera Collaborative; Second Man in Armour, Ensemble), and The Marriage of Figaro (Indian Hill Music; Count Almaviva).
