John Reynolds, baritone, is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at New England Conservatory. He has performed the roles of Sid in Albert Herring, Masetto in Don Giovanni, Antonio in Le nozze di Figaro, Boniface in Angélique, Vicomte Cascada in The Merry Widow and Archie Kramer in Summer and Smoke. Other roles in his repertory include Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, John Sorel in The Consul and Dr. John Buchanan in Summer and Smoke.
John is currently in rehearsal for a production of Die Fledermaus with Opera Providence. Recently, he sang in a special tribute to Cole Porter, entitled Cole! A Celebration of the Life, Words, and the Music of Cole Porter in NEC’s Jordan Hall. He has performed at various venues throughout Austria with the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) and a variety of roles with the Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music Center. This summer, Mr. Reynolds will attend the Franco-American Vocal Academy in Périgord, France. In France, he will perform the roles of Don Miguel de Panatellas in La Périchole and Gardefeu in La vie Parisienne of Offenbach.
Mr. Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Music in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College, Conservatory of Music. He is currently a student of Delores Zeigler.
