[No picture available]
Originally from greater Hartford, Margaret Felice holds degrees from Boston College and The Boston Conservatory. During the 2007-2008 season Margaret appeared in Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira), Ruddigore (Rose Maybud) and in concerts throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. During the summer of 2008 she participated in La Musica Lirica in Italy, studying Italian language and diction while covering the role of Musetta in La Bohème.

In January 2007 Margaret took office as President of the Boston Opera Collaborative. She appeared in their inaugural production, Iphigénie en Aulide, their fall 2006 scenes program entitled "Making a Scena", and their cooperative production of La Bohème with Riverside Theatreworks. During the summer of 2007 she was part of their production of Dialogues of the Carmelites, singing the role of Sister Martha and covering the role of Blanche under the direction of Marc Astafan and Michael Strauss.

Margaret recently travelled to Pepperdine University to attend the Songfest Professional Program for singers and pianists, focusing primarily on recital repertoire. An active recitalist, she performs regularly across Southern New England. Recent recitals have been held at Newton Free Library, the Public Library of Brookline, and The Boston Conservatory. With a thorough background in sacred music, Margaret is also regularly seen as an oratorio soloist. Recent performances include the Rutter's Requiem, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and Beethoven's Mass in C. Other concert work includes early music: since 2005 Margaret has sung with Cappella Clausura, a professional treble chamber choir committed to performing works by women who wrote during Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras.

An artist with a particular interest in urban education, Margaret developed and directed a High School Audition Workshop, run by Boston Opera Collaborative at the Boston Arts Academy in Fall 2007. Margaret has directed boys' and girls' choirs in New Bedford, Dorchester and the Germantown neighborhood of Quincy, MA, and is an Assistant Director of the Liturgical Arts Group at Boston College. Margaret lives in South Boston and is a religion teacher and director of liturgical music at Catholic high school.
