Tiffany Evans, soprano

Tiffany Evans soprano, originates from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she performed in AGMA productions with Cincinnati Opera while attending the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. By the time she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in voice, she had played the roles of Adeline in the regional premiere of Central Park by Michael Torke and Dido of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. Miss Evans also premiered the role of Gianpaolo in the Italian version of Dominic Argento’s Casanova’s Homecoming in Lucca, Italy. Miss Evans completed her Master’s Degree voice program at Boston University in 2007. Throughout 2006 while at BU, she covered the roles of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni and Natalya Petrovna in A Month in the Country, both mainstage productions with Boston University’s Opera Institute and is remembered for her humorous portrayal of Zita from Gianni Schicchi. Last April, she covered the role of Mimi in the Opera Institute’s 20th Anniversary mainstage production of La Boheme under the direction of Ms. Sharon Daniels. Currently, Miss Evans works full time as an audiences services associate at The Celebrity Series of Boston and volunteers as a counselor for adults with mental illnesses in Cambridge. Miss Evans is a student of Penelope Bitzas.
