Beth Lytwynec, mezzo-soprano, is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance at The Boston Conservatory. Recently, Ms. Lytwynec has portrayed the title role of Handel’s Serse, Mme. de la Haltière in Massenet’s Cendrillon, Marcellina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Mrs. Grose in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and Lampito in Seagle Music Colony’s production of Adamo’s Lysistrata. She has performed partial roles including Tituba in The Crucible, and Third Lady in The Magic Flute. In the spring of 2010, Ms. Lytwynec will be performing the role of Romeo in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi at The Boston Conservatory where she studies with Dr. Rebecca Folsom.
