Francesca Giannetti, soprano

Francesca has sung the Woman in Poulenc's La Voix Humaine, and Polissena in Radamisto by Haendel, both directed by Mireille Laroche at the Salle Cortot in Paris. As a stage actress, she performed the roles of Beatrice Joanna in Thomas Middleton's The Changeling and Nellie Ewell in Tennessee William's Summer and Smoke. She was a member of the company for the inaugural season of the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, interpreting the role of Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew. Most recently, she appeared as the Seconda Cercatrice in Boston Opera Collaborative's October production of Suor Angelica. Francesca completed a diplôme d'exécution in voice with Elisabeth Rogier and Nadine Denize at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. She currently studies voice with Carol Mastrodomenico of Tufts University.

Francesca is the Treasurer of Boston Opera Collaborative.
