La Bohème, March 2-4 and 9-11, 2012

Boston Opera Collaborative presents Giacomo Puccini's La Bohème, March 2-4 and 9-11 at Tower Auditorium, MassArt, 621 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA. Friday/Saturday performances begin at 8:00 PM, Sunday performances begin at 3:00 PM. David Gram directs. Adam Boyles conducts. Tickets are available for purchase online or for reservation by phone at (617)-517-5883.

Set in the mid-nineteenth century, Puccini's masterpiece endures and resonates with contemporary audiences because of its breathtaking music and its timeless story of love, loss, and the sacrifices we make for our art. Although the romanticized world of the artist contrasts with the harsh realities of life, these are recognizable characters that feel deeply, think profoundly, and love with every fiber of their being.
